The location

The campus of UniCal (University of Calabria) and the conference center “Beniamino Andreatta” inside the UniCal campus will host the IEEE ICHI 2025 conference.

 

Travelling to Rende, Cosenza (Italy)

By plane

The Lamezia Terme (SUF) airport is well connected to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and to Milano Linate (LIN, the domestic/European airport of Milano).
Some companies fly directly (no stop) from SUF to Zurich, Wien, London Stansted, Frankfurt, and to Venice.

From SUF a bus (2km, 1.3 mile ride) brings you to the Lamezia Terme train station.

From the Lamezia Terme train station a no-stop train brings you to Castiglione Cosentino (Rende) and to Cosenza downtown (1h ride). Trains run every hour.

From Castiglione Cosentino you can walk to the hotel s by a short walk (500-800 mt, 600-900 yards).

Guests staying at the hotels may hop on a shuttle bus (to be arranged for the conference) to reach the conference location in the campus of UniCal (3.2 km, 2 miles away).

 

By train

Fast trains from Rome, Naples run hourly to Paola (a 3.5 hour-long journey).

Trains from Paola to Castiglione Cosentino and Cosenza run frequently (15 minute journey).

 

Accomodations in Rende, Cosenza (Italy)

Most hotel are located within a walking distance (3-4 minutes) from the Rende train station.
