These rapid overviews will be followed by a poster session where participants and mentors can discuss research in greater detail. Selected participants may also be invited to give a longer oral presentation. The Doctoral Consortium will close with a panel or round-table discussion on topics relevant to doctoral students, such as dissertation development, job searching, or grant seeking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Paper submissions must adhere to the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Proceedings Format<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row-full-width vc_clearfix\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1574954000227 vc_row-has-fill\" data-vc-full-width=\"true\" data-vc-full-width-init=\"true\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"themeum-title \">\n<h3 class=\"style-title\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Submission<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">To apply to the ICHI 2025 Doctoral Consortium, we request that each student submits a single PDF file with the following items:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Cover Letter: A 1 page cover letter justifying what the student hopes to gain by attending the Doctoral Consortium.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Extended Abstract: A 1 page abstract of a research project (ongoing or planned) in the IEEE Proceedings Format.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"themeum-title \">\n<h3 class=\"style-title\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Publication<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">All accepted submissions will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in other Abstracting and Indexing (A&amp;I) databases.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Submissions to the Doctoral Consortium should be to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easychair.org\/my\/conference?conf=ieeeichi2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EasyChair<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\">, choosing \u201cDoctoral Consortium\u201d as a track.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1573522148719 vc_row-has-fill\" data-vc-full-width=\"true\" data-vc-full-width-init=\"true\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"themeum-title \">\n<h3 class=\"style-title\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Reviewing<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Co-Chairs and independent reviewers will conduct the reviews based on quality of the proposal, relevance to ICHI, and perceived value of participation to the doctoral student.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"themeum-title \">\n<h3 class=\"style-title\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Travel Awards<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">It is foreseen that the selected doctoral students to be accepted for the Doctoral Consortium will receive a travel award to participate in the Conference.
